Greetings!
Happy Fall! There is a cool, crisp breeze in the air, the leaves are turning color, football season is upon us and of course, there’s a lot cooking on the political front!
Thanks for visiting our campaign site. We are working on some exciting changes to even better serve all our fellow Tennesseans and friends throughout the 7th District and get our message out to you no matter where you live! There will also be many ways for each of you to interact with our campaign and to share your views, ideas, and suggestions as we continue to move forward. So keep visiting, we promise each time you will discover something new and engaging.
As for a quick update from the campaign trail-Well, we have simply been so humbled by the wonderful, enthusiastic and excited response of so many of you whom we have had the pleasure now to get to know since we announced last June. Since that time, we have been crisscrossing this wonderful district, meeting many of you, listening to the many issues and concerns on your mind and sharing our message of positive change with each of you.
We know there are many challenges that we face, as Tennesseans and as Americans, today and to the future. We appreciate and understand the real fear and concern many of you all have about the best way to tackle these challenges. Whether it is turning our economy around and creating jobs, providing quality education for our children and for students of all ages, ensuring that we all have access to quality and affordable healthcare or protecting our nation’s security and combatting terrorism, I am committed to rolling up my sleeves and doing whatever it takes to get the job done for you.
Growing up in a small, rural farming area, my parents instilled in me four values that I believe will serve me well as I seek the honor of being your Representative in Congress-Faith, Family, Hard Work and Education. I know that these are values you and I share, and while they may not guarantee success they are sure necessary ingredients in any recipe for success in my opinion. I do know that we are strongest when we are working together to solve our collective challenges and not when we are divided along racial, ethnic, religious or other lines.
I hope you and I can get a chance to talk soon. I believe you will find me to be a tireless advocate on your behalf. I don’t agree with those who would seek to play politics with problems. My goal is to find positive, workable solutions that benefit all Tennesseans in District 7.
So, your many well-wishes, requests to volunteer and your contributions have been and will always be much appreciated. Especially now as I know these are tough times for many of us. Don’t hesitate to contact myself or my staff and let us know how we can continue to best get to know you and make sure we are voicing those issues that most concern you.
For now, thanks again for visiting our campaign site and be on the look out for new Campaign Blog “Postcards” each week!
Best Wishes
Dr. Greg Rabidoux
Candidate, US Congress, District 7, Tennessee
